Splash screen sticks when changing desktops

I've noticed that if I switch desktops on Mac OS 10.7 while bitcoin-qt is loading (which often takes a while), the splash screen will usually persist even once the main app window has appeared. It will be behind the main app window, so if you move the main window out of the way the splash screen will be waiting there patiently, and there's no obvious way to get rid of it other than restarting the program.
