The heater and fans all share a common power line -- I believe -- on pins 21-24 of the 24-pin connector. (I'm trusting that this thing is designed by a sane human being and they share power and switch on ground, I don't actually own one to check it anymore.) You should be able to solder to any of those four pads to get 24V if you need it, and the common ground pins are 1 and 2 way over on the other side. It would be a relatively trivial add to throw either another two-pin connector on the board for auxiliary power, or a couple of test points to solder to, but I can't remember offhand where it would be safe to put those for mechanical clearance.
Hi,
I read about a 24V common PIN - do you know if I can catch 24V to power a LED?
Thx
