I'd actually love to submit a pull request with the bug fixed. It's an issue with Google detecting that the sign-in is from an application and so would require you to go through their OAuth and get the user to login from their browsers instead. I'll have a look at getting it done within the week

If you are using Tusk in Ubuntu, best solution is using your account info (username & password) to login program. Since Google has no given any chance to login and acts ridiculously, this will be best solution i guess. I couldn't login my account because of this thing since a month.

I am experiencing the same issue. Not able to use Tusk more than a month. All my previous data are linked to the google account

Using Ubuntu 18.04 LTS and tusk 0.23.0. Hope this gets resolved soon

You can login your account with Chrome browser https://evernote.com/ by using your Goggle credentals. After that you can still use tusk in chrome browser. But if you want to use tusk in ubuntu right now, best solution is using your evernote login name and password.

Hey guys, I was having the same issue, but I found a way to login to the account associated with your gmail.

Just enter your gmail, press continue, and reset your password using forgot password.

And then from now on, you can just log in to that acc using the email and new password.

I have similar issue, but my problem has resolved. I can now sync my Android as well my Ubuntu 18.04.

Step 1 :
If you already have connected your ever note account by using your social media credentials, then problem will be resolved easily.

Step 2:
After Opening tusk,
(a) . In username field, type your user name or email id.
(b). You will be asked to enter password, if above username or mail id is valid.

Step 3:
Then, go with option, "forget password" or "Reset password",
you will receive mail for resetting your password.

Step 4 :
Once you click the reset password link, you will be directing in to an ever note, there you can change your password.

Step 5
Close the browser link and now open the tusk,

Step 6
Enter username and your new password to enjoy tusk 👍🏻 !
