On Windows 10, drag n' drop as well as copy + paste only works with the default export profile. Any other option won't drag + drop/copy into any program I've tried ( illustrator, word, powerpoint). Saving works just fine.

System executables and paths are set correctly.

I got the same problem on Windows 10 Pro. I am able to save, but unable to drag or copy to Illustrator.
This latter function would be very usefull for inserting equations in figures.

Any solution?

Appreciate your attention.

I'm having the same issue. Illustrator won't accept any format. OneNote gets through several options a low quality image. It also accepts pdf format, but I have to go through a printout dialog.

If you choose EPS format, you will be able to drag and drop into Adobe Indesign (and then from there you can copy paste into Illustrator). Unfrotunately, direct drag and drop directly to Illustrator does not work... I agree it would be a very useful feature

Hi, sorry for taking so long, I don't have a reliable Windows working environment to do a lot of testing of copy/paste into different applications. I fixed a bug I noticed in the copy/paste code for windows, so this issue should be fixed with KLatexFormula 4.1. Feel free to reopen/post another issue if there are remaining issues.

I'm having this same issue show up using Illustrator 2015 and Win10. "Default" works as does "Simple Image (via Qt)", providing raster images, but no other settings will copy into Illustrator.
With "Vector Formats" or "EPS" as I drag and drop I see a small plus icon next to my cursor, but nothing shows up in Illustrator. Other settings have a circle-backslash "no" symbol.
"Latex Source" drops text in, as expected.

I installed via windows binaries.
Edit: I am using v4.1.0

For what it's worth, I have have the same issue after updating to Illustrator 2021 (25.2.1).

Hi,

I'm having the same problem. None of the vector formats copy-paste or drag-and-drop to Affinity Designer.
The version I'm using is 4.1.0 on Windows 10.

But fantastic program! Thanks!

The problem still persists with 4.1 under Windows 11

Same here for Windows 11.

I'm noticing this issue as well. It's important to have a vector graphics export format that works for Microsoft Office apps. I'm trying to use this program as an alternative to Microsoft Office's native tools for inserting equations into Office documents, because the native tools only support one font (Cambria Math).

As a workaround, on Windows, you can select "Temp PDF File" and drag it to your Desktop, then drag the pdf file to Adobe Illustrator or other programs.

(If you directly drag, Illustrator will show a "file url", pointing to the location of that "temp PDF file".
