"Greater than" symbol gets appended to terminal when arrow keys are pressed #80

So, say I type the command help() and I don't press ENTER key, instead I press the up arrow key, the > symbol gets added to all the previous lines. See image for details:

Before pressing up arrow key:

After pressing up arrow key (see inside red circle (or oval)) :

issue1_2
