Thanks for the issue!

Lotion is in passive maintenance mode. The currently released version should be pretty stable, but we've switched to writing the Nomic Bitcoin sidechain in Rust.

We'll fix any discovered bugs, update Lotion to use the Rust implementation of Merk, and update the Tendermint version when Tendermint reaches 1.0 -- but that's about all we've got planned right now! Is there a particular missing feature that you'd need?

Side note: if you're looking to write Cosmos apps in JavaScript, make sure you take a look at the Agoric SDK!
