Hello,

I have found a copy of North & South by Infogrames on two 5.25" floppies.
I read "succesfully" with greaseweazle without any error.
But when i launch the game on dosbox or 86box, the game don't work. But with a craked version of the executable, the game work.
I read some info in the format file from disk-analyse repo about the detection of this copy protection, but i'm not aware how work this tool.
It's possible to have a working image of this game ? My raw dump is 100% accurate?

If you need more info, don't hesitate.

Best regards

Unless otherwise stated the protections understood by disk utilities are specific to Commodore Amiga.

What are you trying to convert your raw dump to?

Hi,

I have tried to convert to img or mfm with gw to use on emulator.
I have only 1 floppy drive in a case with greaseweazle card. So i don't have a real computer with this type of drive.

So, my question is : it's possible to run this game on emulator with my dump without crack?
If not, how know if my raw dump is accurate ?

regards
