I would like the tasks on

https://kaust-vislab.github.io/SciVis2020/tasks.html

to be a bit more elaborate on the one hand (like last year), on the other I would like to add some points that express what the domain scientists expect from the visualizations, that is, not telling the visualization guyswhat to do but what they would like the results to achieve, a little bit like what Bruce said in one of his emails:

“I have always wished for a script that would find interesting physics in our simulations, processing the whole space-time record and looking for unexpected things.”

maybe a tiny bit more specific :) but actually not too specific, the idea is to have the vis guys think about how to visualize the data in order to achieve a certain goal, not to tell them what techniques to use (which is what we do at the moment)

come up with a few bullet points and some explanations that we can add to that page

Request sent to Ibrahim, he met with Peng and will update me.
