Maybe just add a button to download the results as JSON or a |-separated file.

And show the result in text. Text is underrated. Showing something like Otter -> Sea otter -> Latin -> Philosophy would make the result actually mobile-friendly and usable. Otherwise, I can't show my friends how I linked Spontaneous human combustion to Philosophy in 3 easy steps.

Haha thanks for the suggestion. If you scroll down below the graph, there are some very mobile friendly lists for each result:

Let's put that to the test.

I want to copy/paste my path, so it must be mobile-friendly.

First, I long-press the box and…

Literally unusable.

Okay, I'll select the text around it and adjust myself to this mobile-hostile format like that…

And I paste it…

Anime

Animation produced in Japan

List of animated short films

Wikimedia list article

Jack-Jack Attack

2005 film by Brad Bird

Spontaneous human combustion

… and even the copy-pasta is hard to use. And I can't believe there's so many ways to link animes to spontaneous human combustion.

I think I mis-understood what you meant by "mobile-friendly." I thought you were talking about how it looks, not how copy-pasteable it was. Note that this is just a side project for me and I likely won't get around to changing this soon (if ever). You can however share the URL which includes query string params which allow your friends to easily make the same search you did though. And they should be able to view those results from any device.
