Thanks for posting this. The navigation doesn't generate children/grandchildren correctly when using (without (with which messes with the logic. Hopefully this helps anyone else who may be running into this and wondering why it wasn't working for them. :) |

I used this theme for an (unfinished) collaboratively-edited company manual site. Since I didn't want to have to manually manage
has_children
andparent
attributes for each page, I figured out how to modify the navigation template to automatically generate a nested list of links for the sidebar based on each page's location in the directory structure, and the default template to use the same data for breadcrumb generation. You can find my modifications to nav.html and default.html in the Git repository. (As shown by the commit history, it's because of the upstream improvements in page sorting that I recently was able to considerably simplify the required logic.)My question is, would there be interest in this concept being crafted into a pull request for a generalized implementation? Either way, I hope anyone who's looking for such a solution finds this version helpful.
