Thank you for posting a discussion! Unfortunately, Just the Docs' search library (lunr) does not natively support chinese. There may be some community options available (that would require some customization of the theme); this issue in the main repo may be a good place to start: olivernn/lunr.js#173

Thanks for the response @aiyobudui! On my end, I'm very supportive of contributions to make Just the Docs more customizable and available to users in other languages - unfortunately, with the current maintainer burden, it's hard for me to also find time to develop new features. If you (or others) are interested, I'd be happy to review an issue spec/PR.
