Hi, I thought it may be an enhancement to enable users to ignore some types of variables, of some specified types or names. Because unlike MATLAB, there are so many dirty variables in python's environment, which makes me feel inconvenience. For Data Analyzing usage, we may NOT concern about some kinds of them, such as the global variables imported from the packages.

I'm reopening this as a nice follow-up of #290 would be to allow the user to define a list of default filters in the extension settings.

Maybe it could be shared with or pre-populated from the debugger filter which already exists in settings?
