This slider plugin is pretty robust, but I think the thing that sets it apart from most of the other contenders is the Flash-like editor interface available here for visually building sliders on a familiar-looking 'timeline' interface.

Having that portion of the product (in particular the 'timeline' editor) open-sourced would be a huge benefit to your users; is it available, and if not, is it something you'd consider open-sourcing?

For users with more control over their server stack, it would be very powerful to run a self-hosted version of the slider editor and have it connected to a local database.

Thanks for all your hard work on this powerful plugin!
