Hey Everybody,

Ada is going to do an Ally Skills workshop before JSFest. They are giving us a great discount and it's a great opportunity for any organizers that can make it.

Let me know if you're free before the conference and what days/times work best if you'd like to join.

Would love to join. I'm away 11/24-30 and 12/5-8.

We'll need to do it right before the conference so that people flying in have a chance to join, and it needs to be before the conference to have much effect, so you're probably out Eran :(

I'll just bring them into the office! So there!

Anytime but the Wednesday night before works well for me, can't wait!

This might be a silly question but the language at Ada's site suggests it might be men only in terms of attendees or am I wrong? If not I totally want to go 👍

@thefoxis i read the opposite in the PDF brochure, that it's a good to have a 50/50 ratio if possible.

Oh, I didn't see the brochure, silly me. I'm in anyways! Thank you for helping make this happen ✨

I'd be happy to join if there are slots available, but if demand is high then I can drop and make space for others. I'm pretty free starting Sunday, Dec 7.

Would it be ok to invite some prominent contributors who aren't organizers to this? Or do we want to limit it to organizers for now?

I would love to be a part of this training.

I would love to join too, although I'll be out of town 12/5 to 12/8 as well.

Has the date for this been chosen? I'd like to schedule the DU NodeSchool for a different time because there's likely to be overlap between the mentors I want for that and people who want to attend this.

Would it make sense to schedule it for Sunday, before the JS BBQ?

I'm out (sadly) since I'll still be at RobotsConf. Would it be possible for those of us who can't attend to get a writeup/copy of handouts/etc afterwards?

Can't make it. I'll be trying not to get killed that day in central america.
