Use Case/Motivation

Hi!

Thank you so much for developing this tool!

I'm currently using Obsidian but want to move away to a simpler tool. However, in Obsidian I am able to inline images in the journal, which is really nice to look back on (sightseeing e.tc.). Modern terminals (kitty, iterm2) support displaying images, and so it would be nice to be able to make use of this feature to display the images alongside the journal entry.

Example Usage

We could share the same syntax as file imports in Markdown, I.e. My image. Alternatively without a caption we can have <<./relative-link/to-my-image.jpg>>
