wrong indentation with import commands

Hi! I have an issue with indention + auto-import or organize imports commands.
Has anyone gone through something like that?

I'm using CosmicNvim config, which uses this plugin. The author suggested I check this side.
Any idea what it is?

Hmm.. after a little bit of digging in nvim-lsp-ts-utils (the plugin that enables that functionality). I'm not exactly sure what can be done on Cosmic's side since all it does is make a simple request to tsserver.
I'd suggest raising this issue there and seeing if there is a workaround/fix I'm not finding.

Every time I run the "organize imports", "import current" or "import all", it ends up generating inconsistency with the indention.
I have configured the tab size to 2 (tabstop, shiftwidth, softtabstop...) but the commands do not respect it. Thereafter, when I save the file, the auto-format fix all.

I'm not sure that we can do anything about this, since OrganizeImportsRequestArgs from tsserver doesn't accept any options related to indentation / formatting. microsoft/TypeScript#22991 contains more details, but this is something that would have to be supported upstream.

Out of curiosity, do you know the reason for the 4-space indentation and not the 2-space? is it hard-coded?

I ask because it doesn't happen with "Organize Imports" in VSCode, even though now I know that it really ignores the formatting, the trailing commas don't work as expected while the indentation works properly.

Does what I said make sense or does VSCode work differently from vim <> tsserver?

It's hard to say. I wouldn't be surprised if VS Code includes some sort of fix for the indentation. Also,tsserver doesn't comply with the LSP protocol, so Neovim has to interact with it using typescript-language-server as a wrapper. That's also likely to cause differences in behavior.
