Android Studio is based on an outdated version of IntelliJ. This icon issue has been fixed in recent versions of IntelliJ (2023.3).
Consider switching to Android Studio Canary (Jellyfish is based on IntelliJ 2023.3 (aka 233.xxx builds)), or wait for a future Android Studio release.
Otherwise, you can switch to IntelliJ Community, then install the Android plugin. This is basically the same thing.
