[Feature request] Add queue to playlist, or download queue

I tend to shuffle my favorites while on the move, quite often I move into an area with no/poor mobile data and playback stops. I’d like to be able to add my queued tracks to a playlist with a button which would then allow me to download that playlist while I have data/wifi and I could listen to that shuffled playlist in offline mode.

Or even just the option to download the queue, or first X tracks of a queue.

Downloading the queue probably wouldn't work that well, since that changes so frequently and in the background. We also currently have to way to properly update the tracks in the queue, so things like using a downloaded song or enabling transcoding will only apply to tracks newly added to the queue.

Adding the entire queue to a playlist was requested before and is planned at some point.

To solve your issue, you can also try downloading all favorites in the beta (currently from the download settings). That will automatically download all favorite songs, artists, albums and playlists, and automatically removes anything that isn't a favorite anymore.

I saw that option, trouble for me is there’s a little over 1000 tracks in my favorites, I wouldn’t have enough storage to download them all.

Add queue to playlist would likely be the ideal solution.

What if you use transcoded downloads to reduce space? Should be ~ 2 GB for 1k tracks at 96kbps OPUS
