Rework how we deal with sample boots

Currently, prep_boots is called within each specific production method.
In the near future we should pull this out into the calc_production() function. This allows

1. the ability to easily add functionality to keep and return the individual bootstraps
2. to estimate production from multiple methods on the same bootstrap samples for comparisons

This should be high priority (and relatively easy)
