Hi there,

I don't know why but on my new Arch Linux setup jfbview just gives me a black screen in the tty. Pressing q to exit does work, though.

Cheers

I'm seeing the same thing after installing release 0.6.0 on Ubuntu 18.04. Running 'jfbview ./path_to_pdf' results in just a blank terminal. The "q" key seems to work (as previously noted in this issue) to exit the program and the tab key seems to partially work; at least tab will show me the document outline but pressing it again (or Esc) does not close the outline. Trying to select a section of the outline and pressing Enter does nothing either.

I have the same problem, maybe there is a specific dependency that we are missing?

Just checked a closed issue and they stated that it is not supported for arch with only X11 installed.

@Superpat @DealPete This is a viewer for the Linux framebuffer, which typically means no X11. If you're running a window manager or X terminal, this is not for you.
