This looks like a very promising project but it's hard to get a quick feeling for it, the website only provides links to its syntax reference and no examples. This is more effort that a new potential user might be willing to invest.

At least the playground (ideally also website) should provide examples that showcase its features. Maybe 2 headings, one for the parts that are the same as markdown and one for the parts that are different. Each with a paragraph or two of artificial text using as many features as reasonabley fits.

Show that the basics are just as comfortable as markdown and that it provides additional value in a way that that takes less than a minute to read.
