Comments from today's internal Jetstack call. Goals we want to do by achieving the above things ^

  • Make it easier to contribute
    • Semi public meetings?
    • Jetstack channel in k8s slack?
    • Architecture images
  • Work with every registry ⭐
  • Make it easier to use, (deploy, configure, auth, tutorials -> docs)
    • prometheus queries
    • dashboard(s)
    • Static site? Github pages / hugo (@davidcollom creating issue for this)
  • Publicity
  • Performance / efficiency
    • So many more artifacts being uploaded, eg. Kyverno
    • Respectful of APIs ebing used
    • Respectful of the runtime environment

For the updated roadmap or v1 milestone, see here: https://github.com/jetstack/version-checker/milestone/1

Specifically we tried to set some criteria in the Themes vs Non Themes.

The actual issues my change / increase or decrease over time, but the themes should be consistent.
