We need to move from travis-ci to github actions #833

Problem

So, after working a PR and getting that merged @benlangfeld mentioned that we should our config from travis-ci to github actions in order to have a better release flow (or to release anything for that matter)

Thanks. Unfortunately this project is still using Travis CI, which is dead. I think we need to migrate to Github Actions before we can cut a release.
