In setup I'd like to input the projection surface dimensions and resolution. Then we could make drawing utilities to draw in real-world units.

And/or calibrate via camera from a paper? - there could be a paperprogram for each dimension (A4, letter, ...)

Both great ideas! Simplest thing might be a single number for the diagonal, and then calculate everything from that? And then later add auto-calibration (we should add auto-calibration for more stuff in any case)?

You probably need to use two dimensions (or two papers at different locations) to estimate and adjust for any projection transformation

Another idea: we could calibrate in real time per frame based on the distance between dots within each corner (and then just average it out per paper or so).
