Just want to know, can I autorecord calls to my friends? Right now as it seems in the settings, I can record only calls from unknown phones. Maybe there is a switch wich forces app to record every single call?

You can switch on selected numbers and select contacts which you need to record.

But anyway is it possible to record all calls automatically? i mean unknown and all contacts?

Maybe I didn't put it in the wrong way, I was asking exactly the same thing.

I'd requested exactly this same feature from him in future updates.

This is indeed sad, Google made it purposedly difficult to record calls from contacts. You must add every contact one by one, and every contact's number one by one too. Probably noone is doing this and me neither, as it's practically impossible.
Looking at #6 there's a chance tho, i wish the best luck to everyone interested.

Hi everyone,
I think it is technically possible to implement this feature.
The file /data/data/com.google.android.dialer/files/CallRecordingSettingsData.pb contains the protobuf list of contacts to auto-record. GoogleDialerMod may provide a button that populates that list with all your contacts in just one click.
However, reversing the necessary protobuf definition and implementing the code may takes a long time as I'm not an Android developer, and I already have many other works in progress. Btw, I just received a donation for this issue, so I grant you it's now in a higher position in my todolist.
