When I started playing this game while back, I Immediately notice that something's wrong with small Mario's/Luigi's animations.

Pretty much all of Small Mario's/Luigi's animations are like this. Their heads are proportionally wrong and that it has no animation or it's broken. You can see that it looks real bad when Mario crouches.

NSMB-MarioVsLuigi.2023-08-03.09-00-11-00.00.00.000-00.00.42.971.1.mp4

As well as holding a shell:

This is how the head proportions should be and the animations:

Idk if the head being scaled wrong has to do with the animations or in general.

Another issue is that Super Mario's/Luigi's Falling animation is for some reason wrong and that Small Mario has the correct falling animation (excluding the head)

NSMB-MarioVsLuigi.2023-08-03.09-02-21.mp4

Here's how it should be:

60_60.melonDS.0.9.4.2023-08-03.09-34-21.mp4

I just want this game to have better consistency so that it looks better. If you want me to include Luigi as well, you can ask.

I already noticed the lack of animations while holding items for the next update:

Just fixed the falling animation, though.

Sometimes the power animations/state colors are broken.
