I am using a Super Micro motherboard model X11SPW-TF, which has a BMC and an IPMI LAN interface. Using 'ipmitool lan print', I can get all network information, except 'link status' of the IPMI LAN-port. How can I get that ??
Super Micro offers SMCIPMItool and this has support for 'SMCIPMItool lan linkStatus', but it only runs via LAN and not via /dev/ipmi0 Best regards
