Make sure SDK getting started guides mention `.env` and dependencies #1520

Describe the solution you'd like

Currently the getting started guides use dependencies that are not mentioned before the getting started code is shown.
We decided to use .env to set the required variables, but this is not mentioned consistently before the getting started code is shown. Ideally we should show the contents of the example .env file.
