Error and success messages are not easily understandable by a non-developer.
Especially on:

  1. Loan check in and checkout ( Successful loan action is not explicit enough)
  2. Checkout, check in errors
  3. Patron cancels loan
  4. Librarian cancels loan

Review ALL the error messages and adapt to be user friendly
