Feature autocomplete for popular domains, could even include favicons.

Inspired / stolen from nslookup.io:

Note their autocomplete list is limited.
The feature is implemented with a plaintext API, e.g. see:

• https://www.nslookup.io/autocomplete/internet.
• https://www.nslookup.io/autocomplete/sidn
• https://www.nslookup.io/autocomplete/ (type a space to get these in the UI):

  google.com
  facebook.com
  a-msedge.net
  amazonaws.com
  microsoft.com
  

  So their sourcing might be - at least partially - be based on reverse DNS because of the listing of a-msedge.net and amazonaws.com.

And they use of the Duck Duck Go favicon cache:
