It would be nice to have more freedom when choosing the aperture shape for flux extraction. Currently, only a circular aperture is implemented. Possible additions:

  • Option of an elliptic aperture (defined by major, minor, angle) - this covers the circular one as well
  • Option to include custom masked region (e.g., for 2 sigma contour integration)
