Consider implementing undo/redo

Maintaining a history of commands and being able to apply/revert them could be a substantial change. Investigate whether it is possible without going over the line constraint.

Just an idea: One use case of undo/redo is do quickly delete lines. Maybe a feature where selecting multiple lines to copy or delete them could be implemented instead.
