Description

When I am on the page for a WG list archive page, there is no direct way to get to the WG page. The name of the list is shown in bright orange, but it isn't a link to the WG. It would be nice if this big orange text was a link to the Datatracker page for the WG.

This would be a change to mailarch, not the datatracker. Moving the issue to that repository.

Mail Archive is not aware of Datatracker URL space

Maybe it could be. From a user's perspective, being able to go from the Datatracker to the mail archive, but not being able to go from the mail archive to the Datatracker, would be surprising and unhelpful.

We expect /group/{acronym}/ to remain very stable.

That said, @paulehoffman, knowing that a list belongs to a group (and which group) would require tighter integration with the datatracker (at least).
