Should be possible to activate mining from web app

Last week I was on holidays when I got alerted to my node (running on a VPS) being down. So I restarted the node, and went to the web app to turn on mining. But that wasn't possible because it told me I needed to enable mining from the desktop app. Which is what I usually do when on my computer, obviously. But on holidays I didn't have my laptop with me.

As far as I know, there is no real restriction on why the web app couldn't activate mining. Please allow that, possibly with warnings to actually have the node running.
