Upgrade

Hi,

I'm using an older version of this cartridge. Is it possible to upgrade easily to the latest version now without losing the previous data?

Can't think of a safe way to make this cartridge auto-updatable. For now we'll just have to use mongodump, destroy the cartridge, install the new version, then do a mongorestore.

Indeed, there's no easy way to do this. You'll probably have to use rhc port-forward to connect and dump the data on your machine, install the new version and restore afterwards.

Thanks for your answers. I was asking due to this:

Based on the previous docs and since I'm using mongodb 3.2.7, I was thinking about the possibility of extending the control script to simply:

Shut down your mongod instance. Replace the existing binary with the 3.4 mongod binary and restart mongod.

Which IMHO is "easy" (straightforward) and relatively safe (making a backup before of course)

Any thoughts?
