Check if VPN is working

Hey, i just installed it but i don't know if the vpn works. Is there any way to check? When i go tho whatsmyip i still see mine. And does it cover seeding too?

For torrents I normally use torguards 'what's my torrent ip' or you can curl ifconfig.me from inside the vpn container

My ip didn't change, i assume i did it wrong. Would you be so kind to explain to me how to run bobarr trough the vpn? I am a windows user
