I use i3 and polybar, and they generally work together so well that I don't even notice that they're different programs. One discrepancy I've noticed: spinning the mouse wheel over the polybar workspace list selects a different workspace, and spinning the mouse wheel over i3 tabs selects a different window tab, but the direction of scrolling is opposite in these cases. I'd prefer the polybar direction.
Is there any way to make the mouse wheel direction when hovering over i3 tabs go the other way? I found mouse wheel bindings section in the manual, but I didn't see any context for hovering over tab titles, so I wonder if that's hard-coded (but a quick search didn't turn up anything obvious in the source code, either).
