Slack Screen Sharing selection dialog doesn't work in tabbed or stacking modes, but OK in splitv/splith mode - any thoughts why? #6007

For anyone coming across this, perhaps this
This ensures that the Huddle window goes immediately to a floating, full-screen view. Making it floating seems to consistently work around the issue above, regardless of the current layout mode. Making it full-screen helps avoid the inevitable manual resizing when it appears tiny :) |

I've noticed some interesting behaviour with the Slack app (Ubuntu 22.04 + Snap, but I don't think that matters) and how it offers to share screens and windows within i3 during a "huddle" (i.e. video call). I'm using i3 v4.23, with X.Org 7.7 (so not Wayland).
For example, if I create a new workspace and have just the Slack app running, and I join a huddle, and choose "Open Huddle Window" to open a separate huddle window, the new window opens alongside my Slack window (in splitv/splith mode), and the "Share your screen" button shows a dialog with all of my Screens and Windows to select from. No problem there.
But if I use $mod + w (tabbed), then the "Share your screen" button shows an empty dialog. There are no Screens or Windows to select from, at all. It's completely blank. $mod + s (stacking) also doesn't show any shareable Screens or Windows.
Dismissing this and returning to a splitv/splith mode restores functionality. It also works if I switch to a floating window. Fullscreen doesn't seem to make any difference (full-screen with tabbed still doesn't work).
Any thoughts why this doesn't work in "tabbed" or "stacking" modes? I'm not overly concerned, especially now that I understand how to work around this, but for a little while I found it confusing because it made this Slack feature appear highly unreliable.
