I have a script that subscribes to TV's current application, and if it changes to HDMI2, send command to IPC socket to move some workspaces (with Steam and so on) to a certain output of my graphics card, and moves them back when application changes to something else. The little problem is that chain "workspace 0; move workspace to output HDMI-A-1" needs to focus workspace, which is inconvinient, if I work on a PC at the moment.
Is there a way to move workspace without focusing it at first?
