can hypre be discovered by cmake?

gives explicit link instructions. I note that hypre comes with .cmake files but not .pc. I prefer the latter but maybe that's a matter of taste. However, I don't find instructions on how to use the .cmake files. Can they be used to integrate hypre in a cmake setup?

Could I have an answer to this? I can not figure out from the install .cmake files what variables are defined.
