My QA team flagged some iPad-specific bugs in both iPad Mail and iPad Gmail App that were not reproducible in iPhone Mail or iPhone Gmail App. (For example -- vh units worked in iPhone Mail but not iPad Mail, so I had to use % units instead. This was something I had to figure out through trial and error with an actual iPad device.)
So I'm requesting for CanIEmail to also reflect this divergence so that future iPad-specific bugs can be more easily addressed.

Hey Alice! Thanks a lot for reporting this. I've been wondering if there ever was any difference between iPadOS and iOS in terms of rendering. In my experience they've always been on par. Do you have any reproductible example? (You mentioned vh but in my experience, they're not supported as well in iOS.) (Running every test through a new client, and especially a new OS, can be quite a chore so I want to make sure it's worth it before doing anything. 😅)
It's been conventional knowledge for a long time that iPhone and iPad both use the same OS. However, this has not been the case since iPadOS 13 diverged from iOS 13 in 2019.
