I want to use turtle graphics with Carnets. Does anyone know of a package that works for this? The ‘turtle’ package doesn’t work because there’s no tkinter, I tried to use mobilechelonian’s turtle and got this error.

From a quick search, it seems that mobilechelonian worked in classical notebooks, but not in jupyterlab.
Since the architecture of classical notebooks was changed to use the extension system of jupyterlab, that could explain the issue.
The Jupyter notebook was pretty flexible in what it allowed. Basically arbitrary JavaScript worked there. With JupyterLab, things are more locked down, which is better from a safety perspective, but comes at the cost of lost flexibility. As a result more work was needed by developers to port packages to the new framework. Maybe this one hasn't been migrated?
