I have checked for existing issues and only found closed ones from some time ago. Here is one which describes what I am experiencing: #539
Describe the bug
When running copyq menu from an sxhkd keybind I can not navigate the menu with vi style bindings, and can not close it with escape or by focusing another window until I manually run copyq menu from a terminal. Here is the sxhkdrc section for copyq:
super + v
copyq menu
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Hit the keybind super + v which is mapped to run copyq menu in my sxhkdrc file
The menu opens but I can not navigate with vi bindings or close it with the escape key.
Open a terminal and run copyq menu manually in it. Next time I use the sxhkd binding to bring the menu up the issue is fixed, except I need to click on a window which was not the last focused window before launching the menu to close it.
Expected behavior
I expect be able to use j,k to navigate the clipboard entries, use escape to close the menu, and for the menu to close once I click on a window other than the menu.
Version, OS and Environment
(Get details from copyq version command if possible.)
$ copyq version
