Checklist

  • I have used the search function to see if someone else has already submitted the same bug report.
  • I will describe the problem with as much detail as possible.

App version

3.8.1

Windows version

Windows 11 Pro x64

Steps to reproduce

  1. Wait for simplewall to inform you of an update
  2. Click "Yes" to download and install update
  3. Trigger the "Network connection was blocked" dialogue (make sure some software that was previously not in simplewall's list of processes try to access internet)

Expected behavior

Not sure to be honest. Maybe the process is added to the list of "no internet access" in simplewall automatically. Or the dialogue is never shown and any unknown processes trying to access internet during the update phase is added to a list which can be processed after the update and at that moment in time show the dialogue.

Actual behavior

Use has no chance to click "Allow" or "Block" since simplewall will restart due to the ongoing update process. After the update the process is not listed in simplewall.
