%filename% predefined placeholder not working

Using %filename% as a text in a textfield does not substitute the placeholder for the filename of the document.
The %filename% text does 'disappear' but is not substituted to the actual filename, so the text field is empty.

For other predefined placeholders this does work (e.g. for %id%).
