TidyBlocks (http://tidyblocks.tech) is a free, open source tool for teaching data science built using the same toolkit as Scratch. It runs in the browser with no software installation or account setup, provides blocks for filtering, summarizing, plotting, and doing statistical tests with tabular data using a familiar drag-drop-and-click-together interface, and is available in seven languages (so far). This talk describes our motivation in creating it, shows some of the ways it can be used, and invites feedback on future development from classroom teachers.
