v4.0.0 changed what the green button per chore on /choresoverview does - related changelog excerpt:
Changed the handling of the tracking buttons on the chores overview page
The green button now tracks an execution of the corresponding chore on the next scheduled time, rather than for now/today
New context-/more menu option "Track chore execution now" to track an execution for now/today (so the same what the green button did before)
While this change perfectly makes sense and was (of course) based on more than a lot of requests with the (natural) intention that tracking the next scheduled time by default makes sense if you simply did your laundry earlier (or later, doesn't matter for the practical fact) this time, there was endless discussion since then.
So let's track here to add an option (maybe per chore) if that green button in question should track an execution for now/today (state of until, including v3.3.2) or for the next scheduled time of the corresponding chore (state since v4.0.0).
#2311 (comment) contains an immediate solution to restore the previous behavior.
References #2311 and the duplicates #2313, #2326, #2423.
