Feature Request: "Copy existing product [and prefill barcode]" button in "Create product" popup

(My) current workflow for adding a new variant of a product:

1. Click "Manage Master Data"
2. Search existing product
3. Copy existing product
4. Hit "Save & return"
5. Click on Purchase
6. Scan the barcode
7. Click "Add as barcode to existing product" in the dialog

8. Search for the newly created product (steps 1-4)
9. Complete the purchase

Suggestion:

1. Add buttons to "Copy existing product" and "Copy existing product and prefill barcode" to the popup from step 7.
2. On activating, use another popup to let the user select which product to copy
3. Set "copy-of" parameter and continue with InPlaceNewProduct workflow

Benefit:

• Would improve usability, especially when adding lots of similar products (e.g. a mixed crate of drinks)

Drawback:

• Would clutter the "Create Product" popup. This could be mitigated by a slight re-design, either using a more tabular button layout (see mspaint-mockup below) or using a checkbox instead of a separate button for the "and prefill barcode" option.
