Expected behavior

I believe that amenity=money_transfer should be renderered. It currently has 7 135 usages with usage in many countries as far as I can tell from my overview with overpass turbo.

I'd imagine an icon with a bank note and arrows would make sense, but I'm not a graphic designer.

Actual behavior

amenity=money_transfer is not rendered.

Thanks for the suggestion.

This is an interesting case because this is one of relatively few tags that is not predominantly used in Europe and the US. More than half of the uses of the tag are in Africa.

The problem i see is that - as the documentation on the wiki mentions - such services are very often not standalone businesses but secondary services provided by other businesses like shops or banks.

The secondary tag for that is money_transfer=* - which is used around 2k times with much less wide geographic distribution (almost all in the Philippines).

Neither of the tags is really documented (especially not in terms of defining what the qualifying criteria for the tag are) - which makes developing a universally suitable symbol difficult.
