Describe the bug
Using set-x-filesFactor returns an unclear error message [ERROR] File '/opt/graphite/storage/whisper/full/path.wsp' does not exist! While the file does exist. The problem is in fact a permissions issue. Running the command below with sudo does work but it took me some debugging in the whisper.py code to figure that out.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

whisper-set-xfilesfactor '/opt/graphite/storage/whisper/full/path.wsp' 0

Environment (please complete the following information):

  • OS flavor: ubuntu
